Secretary General of the Korean Council for University Education Dae Joon Hwang will visit BGPU

The Secretary General of the Korean Council for University Education Dae Joon Hwang and his assistant Mi Ok Hu have arrived to Bashkortostan. The purpose of their visit is to acquaint with system of distance learning in the republic. In particular, on Wednesday, July 10, foreign guests will visit Bashkir State Pedagogical University (BGPU) where a large-scale work is spent in the above-named direction.

“Bashkir State Pedagogical University carries out great work within the limits of resource support of the educational environment of the republic. Information-technical department of BGPU developed a number of serious projects, such as «Open University», information-educational web portal of Bashkortostan Republic oprb.ru which united teachers’ community of the region on the Internet. Besides, the developed system of distance learning was created,” Olga Pechatkina the head of press centre of BGPU explained. Today BGPU also takes part in the «Bashkir Electronic University» project.
