Kazan Universiade-2013: Bashkortostan supports five athletes on July 9

On July 9, the next competitive day of the World Summer Universiade-2013 in Kazan, five sportsmen representing Bashkortostan as a part of the Russian national team will participate in the competitions.

Egor Nikolaev, the runner from Beloretsk, will compete for medals in the 1500 m final of the track and field athletics program of the Universiade.

Diana Akhmetova will appear in women weightlifting in the weight category of 63 kg.

Arthur Ahmathuzin and Renal Ganeev will compete in a personal foilsmen tournament.

At last, the Russian national volleyball team with Anna Malova from Ufa club “Ufimochka-UGNTU” will play with Polish national team. The day before our girls started at the Universiade with a game versus Czech team and gained a confident victory — 3:0.
