American professor will teach Bashkir scientists to write articles in English in Ufa

The Professor of John Hopkins University (USA) Ildar Khannanov will hold a seminar on mastering idiomatic scientific English language, the press-service of Academy of Sciences of Bashkortostan Republic informs.

The seminar in English written language (scientific articles for SCOPUS, Web of Science, etc.) will be spent by the Academy of Sciences RB with assistance of Fund for Science Support and Development of Bashkortostan Republic.

Participants of the seminar will study important rules and guidelines of writing papers in English, including indication of names, structure, category of a report and article. Also methods of communications with organizers of conferences and publishers of magazines in English will be presented.

Besides, scientific publications will be brought into compliance with requirements of citing indexes and databases SCOPUS, Web of Science, EBSCO, JSTOR, ProQuest and with criteria of the State Commission for Academic Degrees and Titles. Scientific employees, post-graduate students, scientists and young experts are invited for participation.
