Google again makes panoramic shots of Ufa for the project of virtual walks

In July Google will make again panoramic shots of Ufa for the project of virtual walks. The route of specially equipped Google car will drive along Ufa streets for information updating and replenishment in the Street View global map service.

As the main expert of information-analytical department of Ufa administration Danil Ivlev said, the city council received a request on shootings carrying out, and the corresponding permission was issued. The date was not reserved, most likely, works will come to the end in July. Days of making shots depend on weather conditions.

One year ago the car with cameras already went around the capital of Bashkortostan, and also along streets of two other cities of the republic — Sterlitamak and Salavat. In half a year after data processing panoramic pictures became accessible to Internet users.
