Pushkin Alley will save its historical name in Ufa

Inhabitants of Ufa have not supported the offer of capital intelligentzia on renaming a public garden along Pushkin street between Lenin and K.Marx Streets. It was offered to assign the public garden Rudolf Nureev's name. On the official website of Ufa administration a poll on possible renaming the publica garden located along the Bashkir State Opera and Ballet Theatre was conducted. 1312 Ufa townspeople took part in the poll, the majority of them supported the idea to preserve the existing name — Pushkin Alley.

The issue on perpetuating memory of Rudolf Nureev in the name of one of squares or city parks is under consideration now, the information-analytical department of Ufa administration informs.
