About 20 million rbl. will be directed for development of «Bashkir Ural» biospheric reserve

“The next three years it will be directed from 15 to 20 million rbl. for development of «Bashkir Ural» biospheric reserve, now we form an application for financing,” the director of the "Shulgan-Tash" public natural reserve Michael Kosarev said at the press conference in Bashinform News Agency.

It should be mentioned that this biospheric reserve was created in 2012. It is aimed at protecting nature and attracting tourists. According to the Deputy Minister of Nature Management and Ecology RB Ildus Yakhin, issues of creation of others biospheric reserves in the territory of Bashkortostan, including inter-regional, for example, in the borderline territory between Uchalinsky area and the Chelyabinsk Region are considered now.

“Bashkir Ural” biospheric reserve is the first object of UNESCO in the republic,” the main expert of UNESCO department Tair Zainullin informed. “In October a presentation of Bashkortostan will take place at UNESCO headquarters, including the information about “Bashkir Ural” biospheric reserve.”
