American students study Russian language and culture in Ufa

The centre of intercultural communications at M.Akmulla Bashkir State Pedagogical University (BGPU) welcomes American students.

16 future psychologists, sociologists, political scientists and even military men during 2,5 months will pass language training within the limits of cooperation between University and American Councils for International Education.

The press centre of BGPU marks that many of the students, arrived from the USA, speak Russian at intermediate or even advanced level. Among them there are also those who have already visited University before. Educational program on studying the Russian language, which is being realised for the fourth year already, enjoys great popularity among foreign students.

All students who studied at BGPU earlier come back to realize their research projects on the basis of University, and also for teaching activities.

Oleg Shabanov, the senior lecturer of the intercultural communications and translation department IFOMK, the director of translation bureau “7 Continents” supervises the program.
