«Memory Candle» event will be held in Ufa on the night of June 22

The «Memory Candle» event dated for 72nd anniversary from the beginning of the Great Patriotic War will be spent in Ufa Victory Park. The event will take place in all regions of the country on the night of June 22.

Participants of the event will light candles in memory of those who heroically died in struggle against fascism, in memory of people and events of that time. The night from June 21 to June 22, 1941 became a tragic line between a peaceful life and war which led to death of tens of millions of Soviet people including inhabitants of Bashkiria.

Traditionally representatives of the regional branch of United Russia party will take part in the «Memory Candle» action. Flowers to Eternal Flame will be laid by the secretary of Regional branch of the party, the Chairman of the State Assembly RB Konstantin Tolkachev, members of the Presidium of the regional political council, active members of Young Guard of the United Russia.

Laying of flowers will take place at 6 o'clock in the morning, local time.
