47,6 hectares of forest suffered from fire in Bashkiria

For the last three days, from June 14 till June 16, seven forest fires occurred in Bashkortostan which total area amounted to 8,6 hectares.
As the head of the press-service of the Ministry of Forestry RB Aibulat Gainullin informs, four forest emergency situations are registered in Burzyansky forestry on the area of 8,1 hectares. Per one forest fire is accounted for Avzyansky, Dyurtyulinsky and Tuimazinsky forest areas. The ignition area in each of them has not exceeded 0,2 hectares.
“For today from seven detected fires two forest fires in Avzyansky and Burzyansky forestries continue to operate on the area of 0,1 and 0,3 hectares accordingly. Both fires which occurred due to careless handling with fire and lightning discharges, are now localised,” Aibulat Gainullin underlines.
In total in the territory of the republican forest fund 17 forest fires are registered from the beginning of the fire-hazardous season-2013. The total area of forests which were covered by fire, reaches at present 47,6 hectares.
As the representatives of the Ministry of Forestry RB mark, the enhanced land and aviation patrol of forests is now conducted in the region. Thus, only the day before more than 900 people were on patrol.
As to avia patrol 12 flights were executed over the territory of the forest fund of the republic on the established routes from the beginning of the fire-hazardous season.
Since June 10, a special fire-prevention regime operates in the territory of the forest fund of the republic.
