Opening of the new season of Street Workout took place in Ufa

In Inors district opening of the new season of Street Workout (street gymnastics on horizontal bars and parallel bars) took place in Ufa. 20 people took part in competitions and demonstration performances — both skilled sportsmen and beginners.

Financial support to the event was rendered by the chairman of Ufa City Council Evgeniy Semivelichenko. Cups for winners of tournament, and also gifts and uniform to all participants were purchased on the means allocated by him.

Street Workout movement appeared in the USA. The main objective of this sports is to struggle against tobacco smoking, alcohol, drugs and gambling. Street Workout quickly distributed worldwide, however for Ufa it is rather new kind of sports. Competitions are spent only for the third year in the city.

The Street Workout season will last in Ufa till the autumn. It will be closed with a sports holiday where young people will show everything what they have learnt during the summer, the press-service of the Ufa City Council informs.
