Interdistrict track and field race for Rima Batalova’s prizes will be held in Bashkiria

The fifth interdistrict track and fieldrace for the prizes of the 13-fold Paralympic champion on track and field athletics Rima Batalova will take place in Sharan village.

The purpose of carrying out of the race is development of children-youth sports and propagation of healthy way of life among inhabitants of the republic.

Traditionally over 400 athletes (children from 6 years and adult sportsmen) take part in the sports tournament since 2009. For four years the action was visited by over 10 thousand inhabitants of cities and regions of Bashkortostan.

Competitions are spent by Rima Batalova’s Regional Public Fund «Youth of Nation» at support of the Ministry of Youth Policy and Sports RB and administration of Sharan region.

According to the vice-president of the Fund Vladimir Soshenko, field-and-track race becomes a perfect platform for revealing young perspective sportsmen, strengthening of sports communications between regions of Bashkortostan Republic and good start for the future champions.
