Participants of spring volunteer clean-ups collected over 60 thousand tons of waste in Bashkiria

More than 61 thousand tons of solid household waste were collected by participants of spring volunteer clean-ups-2013 in Bashkortostan. According to all available information by the republican Ministry of Ecology, more than 1,6 million resource days are worked in actions on cleaning and accomplishment of territories.

“Landscape gardening of territories is spent now in republican regions and cities. This year it is planted more than 311 thousand trees and bushes. The leader on landscaping is Miyakinsky region where it is already planted 90 thousand young trees,” Nina Nikandrova informed the press-secretary of the Ministry of Nature Management and Ecology RB.

Participants of volunteer clean-ups at present repaired about 754 thousand square metres of road covering, and also more than 136 thousand running metres of fences, facades of buildings. The share of cleaning and accomplishment of republican territory exceeds today 80 percent. Ecological volunteer clean-ups are already completed in Buraevsky and Belebeevsky regions.
