«Day of 1000 Cyclists» will take place in Ufa

On May 19, «Day of 1000 Cyclists» — mass bike ride along the central streets of the city will take place in Ufa.

The holiday will be spent for the third time in the republican capital. If in the first year of carrying out of the Cyclist Day 350 people took part in it then the year later their number increased almost four times. Last year 1300 people participated in the marathon, Rustem Khamitov, the President of Bashkortostan and the head of the capital administration Irek Yalalov joined them.

This year a randonnée will start near the Ufa City Council at 12.30 and will pass along the central streets of the city. Cyclists will finish at the Congress Hall sports area where demonstration performances of masters of figure movement and high-speed rides will take place. Anyone interested can take part in the holiday. Then the festival of bicycle sports will be held on such disciplines, as Strit BMX, Trial, Downhill, figure cycling, cross-country. Also competitions and prize drawing will be held there.
