Young Guard members honoured veterans in Iglino settlement
Active members of "Young Guard of the United Russia" of Iglinsky region honoured veterans of the Great Patriotic War, ER.RU informs.
Celebrations began with Spartakiada Games where representatives of Iglinsky regional companies and the team of "Young Guard" took part. Winners were awarded personally by the head of administration in the central square.
In the meantime from approaching buses veterans were arriving which were met by active members of "Young Guard" and guided to their seats at the set tables. Veterans were given flowers and St.George’s ribbons. All this activity was accompanied by a celebratory concert.
Veterans together with Young Guard took part in the concert, laid flowers to the obelisk to participants of the Great Patriotic War.
Also one of Young Guard members was entrusted to bear the Victory Banner in the celebratory motor transport column.
