Rustem Khamitov laid flowers to the Eternal Flame in Ufa Victory Park

Today, on May 9, the solemn ceremony of laying flowers to the Eternal Flame, devoted to the 68th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War (1941-1945) took place in Ufa Victory Park. The President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov, the Chairman of the State Assembly - Kurultay RB Konstantin Tolkachev and the head of Ufa administration Irek Yalalov took part in it.
After the report by the head of guard of honour Rustem Khamitov laid a wreath to the Eternal Flame.
It was a one-minute silence after execution of hymns of the Russian Federation and Bashkortostan Republic, and then guard of the standard, officers and cadets marched solemnly. The march was accepted by the President RB Rustem Khamitov, the Chairman of the State Assembly RB Konstantin Tolkachev, other officials and veterans of the Great Patriotic War. Then heads of ministries and departments, Ufa administration officials, deputies, veterans, representatives of youth and public organisations laid flowers to the monument of Alexander Matrosov and Minnigali Gubaidullin.
Also the head of republic laid flowers to the grave of twice Hero of the Soviet Union Musa Gareyev and to the busts of Minnigali Shaimuratov and Tagir Kusimov.
The official part was followed by the concert of amateur teams of Ordzhonikidzevsky district of Ufa.
