«The Muslim World of the Russian East: Traditions and Innovations» symposium will be held in Ufa

On May 13, the International scientific and research symposium «The Muslim World of the Russian East: Traditions and Innovations» will be opened in Ufa. The program of the first day includes a plenary session and work in sections. Organizers of the symposium are the Institute of History, Language and Literature of Ufa science centre of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Bashkir State University, Spiritual Governance for Muslims of Bashkortostan Republic. The symposium will be held on the occasion of the 180th anniversary from the date of birth of the known Bashkir religious figure and educator Zainulla Rasulev. Experts in the field of history, philosophy, ethnography, linguistics and other scientific disciplines from cities of Russia, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan and Ukraine will take participation in the congress.
