Cosmonauts will bring the Victory Banner to Ufa

From May 14 till May 16 the III Republican Children-Youthful Festival «Gagarin’s Days in Ufa» will take place. Traditionally legendary Soviet space pilots, prominent military leaders, public figures and politicians of the Russian Federation and RB, schoolchildren from hero towns and cities of military glory will arrive in the Bashkir capital for participation in it. The feature of the present event: this year at the initiative of the President of Cosmonautics Federation of Russia the Victory Banner will be delivered from Moscow to Ufa for the first time.

It is planned that on May 16, it will be transported from the Ufa House of Officers along the central streets to the Russian Drama Theatre RB.

Also the festival program includes — a ceremony of laying flowers to Yuriy Gagarin's bust and Eternal Flame in Victory Park, ceremony of awarding veterans of the Great Patriotic War with the medal «Force of Russia» — «100 years of Air Forces», visiting of Ufa educational institutions, rewarding of winners and prize-winners of the republican Yuriy Gagarin's school Olympiad, meeting with young sportsmen, cadets of Ufa Law College of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation.

Besides, a foundation conference of the All-Russia public organisation «Youth League of Hero Towns and Cities of Military Glory», a round-table conference «Victory Successors» and a press conference for republican mass-media will be held.
