Bashkortostan and Azerbaijan Academies of Sciences have signed a cooperation agreement

Academies of sciences of Bashkortostan and Azerbaijan have signed a cooperation agreement focused on three directions: fundamental and applied research, strengthening of relations between science and education, and also preparation of scientific manpower. The cooperation agreement was signed by the presidents of two Academies — Ramil Bakhtizin and Akif Akha Mekhti ogly Alizade.

As Svetlana Sedeleva? the press-secretary of Academy of Sciences RB informs, cooperation means a number of joint projects. Among them there is a creation of research and research-and-production associations; scientific research conducting, consultations and examinations; manpower training; publishing; organisation of conferences, seminars and symposiums.

The nearest joint project is carrying out of the international scientific conference devoted to the memory of the outstanding scientist, academician of Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan, honorary academician of Academy of Sciences of Bashkortostan Azat Mirzadzhanzade in Baku in November, 2013. As it is known, Azat Mirzadzhanzade "has brought up" many scientists from Bashkiria, including the president AS RB Ramil Bakhtizin.
