May Day meeting took place in Ufa

Inhabitants of Bashkiria celebrate the Day of Spring and Labour. In cities and areas of the republic May Day parades, celebratory programs are organised. Today the main May Day event took place in the capital of Bashkortostan. It is the second meeting which republican trade unions spend together with Ufa administration.

This year the Day of the International Labour Movement passes under the slogan «Decent Work – Decent Salary!». The chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions RB Amirhan Samirhanov initiated increase in payment level and creation of worthy standard of workers living.

At the meeting it was marked that the regional program «Decent Work in Bashkortostan Republic» allowed directing activity of authorities, employers and trade unions on maintenance of conditions for high-efficiency work and its worthy payment.

Despite of the rain, tens of Ufa workers viewed a celebratory concert on the square in front of the City Council.
