Republican "Orbita" academic competition gathered about two thousand schoolchildren

About two thousand schoolchildren from 17 regions of Bashkortostan participated in the "Orbita" academic competition. Pupils of the fifth-sixth forms competed in five subjects: mathematics, logic (sagacity test), natural sciences, Russian and Bashkir languages.

Ufa with 250 children became the leader on number of participants. Dyurtyuly is on the second place — 231 children, further Octyabrsky goes with 193 children. The majority of schoolchildren, about 60 percent, are pupils of rural schools.

The competition results will be summed up after May holidays. Winners and prize-winners will be awarded with diplomas of the Ministry of Education RB and prizes. The absolute winner will be given a tablet computer.

It should be mentioned that the Republican Bashkir lycée-boarding school is the initiator of the third academic competition.
