For one day almost four thousand cubic metres of litter were collected in Ufa

In Ufa the first scale action within the limits of the month campaign on sanitary clean-up, accomplishment and gardening of the capital – «Sanitary Friday» took place in which almost 47 thousand Ufa townspeople were engaged. Active participation in the «Sanitary Friday» was taken by teachers and pupils, students, doctors, employees of housing and communal services companies and trade enterprises, the press-service of Ufa administration informs.

748 units of machinery were involved in cleaning of the city territory. In total more than 3835 cubic metres of litter were taken out to household waste landfills.

City volunteer clean-ups are provided in Ufa within the limits of the month campaign on sanitary cleaning which are planned on April 20 and May 18. During the period of volunteer clean-ups the city household waste landfill will provide reception of waste from all enterprises and companies free of charge, and for the housing enterprises it will free of charge during the whole month.
