Social package for federal benefit holders is increased by 5,5 percent since April 1

Monthly monetary payment (EDV) is increased by 5,5 percent since April 1. In Bashkortostan more than 371 thousand federal benefit holders will start to receive increased payments, the republican Pension Department informs.

Simultaneously the sum of funds directed on granting of a set of social services is also increased. Since April 1, it will make 839,65 roubles. It includes 646,71 rbl. for free-of-charge medicines, 100,05 rbl. for sanatorium-and-spa treatment, 92,89 rbl. more for free travel by suburban electric trains and travel to the place of treatment.

“In Bashkortostan 71 percent of citizens refused from social package in favour of monetary benefits,” the member of Board of the Pension Fund of Russia, the managing director of the Bashkortostan Pension Fund Branch Foat Hantimerov said.

It should be mentioned that federal benefit holders having the right to receive social services can submit an application for refusing to receive a set of services or its separate part, or to renew reception of services in kind till October 1, of the current year.
