Policemen extracted a bribe of 150 thousand rbl. from the suspect in Ufa

Employees of internal security department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs RB exposed employees of criminal investigation department in a bribe extortion. The operation was spent on March 20, under the petition of the 26-year-old inhabitant of Bashkortostan who reported that police officers demanded a certain sum from him for the termination of criminal prosecution. He was suspected in a credit fraud. The 37-year-old deputy head of Criminal Investigation Department of the Ufa district and the 28-year-old senior detective officer of the Criminal Investigation Department offered the man to avoid responsibility for a money reward. While transfer of money an intermediary was detained in the Ufa "Mir" shopping mall.

Concerning policemen and their accomplice a criminal case under article "Fraud" is initiated. «The republican Minister of Internal Affairs ordered to carry out an agency check. By its results the specified employees will be dismissed from the law-enforcement bodies, and their direct heads will be brought to severe disciplinary responsibility», the Bashkortostan Ministry of Internal Affairs representatives commented on the case.
