Rustem Khamitov: «Great victories of Salavat Yulaev are yet to come»

“Today Salavat Yulaev fans spent a bad night. The team lost yesterday in the crucial match versus Ak Bars,” the President of Bashkortostan commented on the last match Salavat Yulaev - Ak Bars.

At the same time Rustem Khamitov underlined that we had nothing to reproach hockey players and coaches with.

“We, fans, generally speaking, are happy, that the team showed its will, character, it fought strongly. These are sports - everything happens here,” the head of the republic expressed his opinion.

The President of Bashkortostan thanked hockey players, coaches, sponsors, fans for what happened in the republic during the last two-three weeks of the play-off.

“We are in good spirits despite of the loss. We know and we understand that the good team is formed. We will support it in 2013, and in 2014, and all the next years. Certainly, we wish it good luck. All greatest victories are yet to come. I believe in it.”
