Ufa festival «City ENVIRONMENT» passed selection tour of the World Economic Forum competition

The Ufa festival of social advertising «City ENVIRONMENT» (Social Advertising — YES!) is included into number of projects applying for victory in prestigious international creative competition of effective social advertising projects «Creativity to the Benefit».

As the competition organising committee informs, at the first stage it was submitted more than hundreds of applications from many countries of the world, 23 of them — from Russia. The most widespread subjects are health, education, science, culture, ecology and sports.

The festival «City ENVIRONMENT» which is spent annually, for eight years became a launching platform for many social projects. For this time the festival has involved more than 2000 competitive works and more than 1000 participants from Russia, the CIS countries and the overseas. Every year the geography of participants extends and has already involved both amateurs from schoolchildren to pensioners, and professionals of the advertising industry from more than 50 cities of six countries-participants: small and large, from Khabarovsk to Berlin.

Now the festival itself should compete with topical social advertising campaigns from Voronezh, Izhevsk, Yekaterinburg, Krasnoyarsk, St.-Petersburg, Surgut and other cities.

Results of the «Creativity to the Benefit» international competition will be announced in April this year.
