Ufa became more attractive to tourists — city council

The number of tourists and sightseers, who visited Ufa, grew from 247 thousand people in 2011 to 684 thousand in 2012. The deputy head of Ufa administration Marat Galiullin informed about it at the press conference in the city council on Tuesday.

As he said, tourist agencies number which organise excursion tours across Ufa became twice more.

The deputy mayor also said that in 2012 the city budget compensated two thirds of tours costs for 389 Ufa townspeople –veterans of the Great Patriotic War, labour veterans, pensioners, disabled people. In particular, trips to Antalia, to St.-Petersburg, recreation centre «Pavlovsky Park» were organised for this category of people, the press-service of Ufa administration informs.
