It is planned to direct more than 9000 people and 800 units of equipment for forest fires suppression in Bashkiria

The consolidating plan of forest fires suppression - 2013 in Bashkortostan provides attraction of special forest firefighting brigades including 2757 people and 509 units of equipment. For suppression of forest fires this year it is planned also to involve forces and facilities of forest areas tenants — in number of 723 people and 329 units of equipment. In case of need forces of Bashkortostan Main Office of EMERCOM of Russia will be engaged.

As the press-service of the Ministry of Forestry RB informs, operating plans provide participation of 5710 local residents in suppression of forest fires.

In 2012 on the lands of forest reserves of Bashkortostan 220 cases of forest fires occurrence were registered. The total area of ignition exceeded 1564 hectares. The area of one fire averaged 7,1 hectares.

Efficiency of forest fires suppression was 74,1 percent last year, in other words, 163 fires were liquidated within the first 24 hours.
