Ecological volunteer clean-ups start in Bashkortostan on April 13

In 2013 ecological volunteer clean-ups (subbotniki) will start in Bashkortostan on April 13.

According to the order of the Government RB, the actions on clearing, accomplishment and gardening of territories will last up to May 18.

It should be mentioned that one year ago more than 2,5 million people took part in the actions on clearing, accomplishment and gardening of territories, 52,5 thousand units of specialised equipment were used there. It was collected and taken out to landfills and dumps more than 249 thousand tons of solid household waste.

Besides, in 2012 participants of ecological clean-ups planted more than 405 thousand trees and bushes in the region.
