Olga Vilukhina was a footstep away from the podium in Khanty-Mansiysk

In Khanty-Mansiysk the final, ninth stage of the Biathlon World Cup started the day before.

In 7,5 km sprint race with two shootings the best of Russians — the alumnus of the Bashkir biathlon Olga Vilukhina took the fourth place with one miss.

She conceded seven seconds to the third prize-winner — German Miriam Gössner. The second was one more German who shot clean — Andrea Henkel.

Czech Gabriela Sukalova, also with clean shooting won this race.

“In comparison with Sochi the race track is easy and significant for me,” Vilukhina said after finish in the interview to «Ves Sport» agency. “I made debut here in 2009. Since then I have not been here, and the snow is different in these places.”

“The today's frost did not frighten me. I live in Novosibirsk, it can be more cold there. I feel fine here. I watch good films, I listen to music. So I stay positive,” Olga marked.
