Winter farewell in Ufa will be spent with agricultural fair and the Pancake week

On Saturday, March 16, an agricultural fair devoted to the winter farewell will take place on the square in front of the Youth Palace in Ufa.

As the administration of the Soviet District informs, the fair will start at 9 o’clock in the morning, and already at 10 o'clock a festive concert will begin on the square to be finished with burning of straw effigy of Maslenitsa .

Buyers will be offered products by different regions of the republic including meat, fish and dairy products.

It will be possible to say winter farewell not only at the agricultural fair, but also in the Ufa Yakutov Park where Maslenitsa will take place on March 17. The program of the festival includes children's games with prize drawing, national competitions, the exhibition «City of Masters», interactive puppet performance «Cheerful Carrousel», and also performance of amateur talent groups, clowns, treating with pancakes and ceremonial burning of straw effigy of the winter.

The holiday beginning is at 13 o'clock.
