«Smart Region: Possibilities of E-learning» International Conference has opened in Ufa

The Ufa Congress Hall hosts the International Research and Practice Conference «Smart Region: Possibilities of E-learning».

Rustem Khamitov, the President of Bashkortostan took part in the forum opening.

“The subject of e-learning is very important for us,” the President underlined. “It is a possibility to keep the best graduates here in the republic. E-learning will allow stopping outflow of the top brains from Bashkortostan. Struggle for human resources is one of our main tasks.”

The head of the republic informed participants of the conference that at the Government level the decision to develop e-learning in all directions was accepted. Not only schoolchildren and students will be attracted to new technologies but also adults, working population. Availability of e-learning, according to Rustem Khamitov will make education uninterrupted, annual. Now «in their daily activity people operate with 10-year-old data», that is fundamentally wrong.

Now several regions of Russia start realisation of such program.

“Our republic has a unique possibility to become the first territory where modern technologies of knowledge acquiring will work,” the President of Bashkortostan underlined. The conference should be made annual.

Representatives of education regulatory bodies, universities, primary and secondary vocational education, schools, and also software developers for e-learning became visitors and participants of the conference. The special visitor was the Secretary General of Korean Council for University Education Professor Dae Joon Hwang.

Participants of the forum will study the advanced world and Russian experience of application of information technologies in education, and also will discuss strategy of e-learning formation in Bashkiria.
