Pentathlete Gulnaz Gubaidullina showed quite good results at the World Cup in the USA

At night from February 23 to 24, at the first stage of the World Cup on modern pentathlon women’s competitions took place in Palm-Springs (USA).

The victory was gained by the Ukrainian Victoria Tereschuk (5400 points). The second was Chinese athlete Xiaonan Zhang (5388), the third was Brazilian Yane Marques (5368).

The best Russian Ekaterina Huraskina was a footstep away from the podium– the fourth place (5356). One more participant from the Russian national team, Bashkir pentathlete Gulnaz Gubaidullina was included into the top six (5312).
