5,5 percent of organisations assist men to be engaged in a hobby in Bashkiria - Yandex

On the eve of Defender of the Fatherland Day, February 23, Yandex has carried out a study on purpose to find out, how many hobby organisations are available in different regions of Russia for men being keen on something; photographers, hunters, fishers, sportsmen and tourists.

By data of Yandex.Maps, in Bashkortostan there are more than 48 thousand of such organizations. At least 5,5 percent from them help to spend one’s free time — to be engaged in various crafts, modelling, radio electronics, photo-art, collecting and similar hobbies. 136 such organisations are accounted for 100 thousand men of the region. On this indicator Bashkortostan occupies the 11th place among 20 investigated Russian regions.

Two more percent of organisations of Bashkortostan are connected with sports or active leisure: gyms and sports facilities, campings, tourist camps, clubs of active leisure and so forth. On this indicator the region shares the 18th place with Tatarstan.

In comparison with other regions of the Volga Federal District, there are more shops for photographers and fans of radio-and-electric engineering in Bashkortostan.
