2,8 billion rbl. were directed for development of public health services in Ufa

During implementation of the Program of Public Health Services Modernisation RB for 2011-2012, 2,8 billion rbl. were directed for development of municipal public health services in Ufa. Alfiya Avzaletdinova, the head of Public Health Services Directorate informed about it at the meeting in the City Council.

700 million rbl. were directed to support material base of medical institutions. Hospitals and polyclinics of Ufa received 1627 units of medical equipment, including radiological units, computer tomographs, respiratory equipment for neonatal resuscitation, operational and diagnostic equipment. In the near future six reanimobiles will be delivered to the first aid station.

Information system financing made more than 116 million rbl. Local area networks were established in medical institutions with a possibility to connect them into the uniform network of the Ministry of Health.

Trauma centres of hospitals No.3 and 13 are completely prepared for an opening and in the near future will start to function. They will be equipped with computer tomographs. Soon patients will be accepted at primary vascular department of the hospital No. 13. The out-patient oncologic dispensary of the hospital No. 13, developmental care department for newborns with extremely low weight in maternity hospital No.3 and 4 started their work.

As Alfiya Avzaletdinova informs, equipment of Ufa medical institutions improved as a result of the Program implementation. Also decrease of death rate at able-bodied age, disease incidence, temporary disablement was observed.
