Rustem Khamitov: «It is important for me that children feel well and comfortable»
During the today's working trip over the Sterlitamaksky region the President of Republic Rustem Khamitov was in Big Kuganak village where he visited Kuganaksky Children's Home. Earlier it was a kindergarten, but it was reorganised in 2001.
32 employees work in the educational institution for children-orphans and children who remained without care of parents, 16 from them are teachers. At present 30 children are brought up in the children's home. 15 children are in foster families.
Groups consist of six-eight children by a family principle. For comfortable living the groups are provided with necessary furniture and equipment. There is modern audio - video equipment, TVs, sofa sets, wall cabinets and other furniture, shower cabins are established. A massage room, gym and computer room are available for the children.
In one of groups children told the President of Bashkortostan their own verses.
“It is important for me that children feel well and comfortable,” Rustem Khamitov marked examining the premises.
The President of Bashkortostan presented a large plasma TV for the Children's Home, thanked for a warm welcome, having marked that there was really cosy and well there.
Pupils of the Children's Home actively participate in different competitions, festivals and reviews of various level. So, the drama studio «Persons and masks» became the winner of the All-Russia competition of children's art creativity "Sozvezdie" which was held in Moscow.
