The World Day of struggle with cancer is marked on February 4

The World Day of struggle with cancer, initiated by the International Union for struggle with oncologic diseases, is marked annually on February 4.

Free-of-charge consultations of oncologists will be held at many medical institutions of Bashkortostan this day. Specialists say that about 40% of cancer cases can be prevented in case of observation of several rules – to protect kids from tobacco smoke, avoid unhealthy food, the lack of motion and excessive sunlight influence. Besides, it is necessary to be inoculated against viruses, causing the cancer of liver and womb neck.
