Neftekamsk is 50 years old

50 years have passed today, February 1, since the moment when Neftekamsk was transformed into Republican town from workers’ settlement in accordance with the decree of Russian Federation Supreme Council Presidium.

A meeting of the organizational committee for preparation and celebration of this date has taken place some days ago under chairmanship of the head of the Presidential Administration RB Vladimir Balabanov.

The head of Neftekamsk administration Ilus Garifullin reported about preparations for the jubilee and about the main actions, planned in 2013.

According to the schedule the main celebration of the 50th anniversary of the town will take place at Neftekamsk stadium “Toros” on August 31, 2013.

The rubric, devoted to the memorable date, is already opened on the official site of the town administration and according to the plan of actions, what can be found in this rubric, plenty of cultural-entertaining, scientific and sports actions will take place in the town in 2013.

The documentary “The Chronicles of dates and events”, devoted to the 50th anniversary of the town will be shot and demonstrated.

International Bashkir and Tatar song festival “DYSLUK MONO”, interregional romance contest “ROMANSIADA” and folklore-ethnographic festival of national cultures “One Family” will be held in the town.

Wide-scaled construction will be launched here too and 4 new 220-seat kindergartens, new madrasah, several tennis courts and the monument to the first builders of Neftekamsk will appear in the town. Several education institutions and the stadium “Toros” will be capitally repaired. Construction of social housing, roads and electrical-, water- and gas-supply objects will be launched too.
