Pupils of Ufa Tatar gymnasium have met with veterans

A meeting of veterans of the Great Patriotic War and toilers of home front with pupils, devoted to the 70th anniversary of defeat of fascist troops under Stalingrad, has taken place at Ufa Tatar gymnasium N65.

More than 200 people – veterans, teachers, parents and pupils of the gymnasium – came to join this meeting, Ufa administration reports. Veterans were playing musical instruments, singing, dancing and reading their own poems.

In opinion of the organizers such meetings of pupils with veterans represent not just the way to celebrate one of the greatest events in Russian history but also an opportunity to strengthen communication between generations.
