Salavat Yulaev won 3:1 over Sibir

In Ufa the match of Kontinental Hockey League Championship where Salavat Yulaev hosted its standings neighbour — Sibir from Novosibirsk finished.

Visitors conceded in stiff fight with the score 1:3. Salavat received a good bonus in the middle of the first period when Ildar Isangulov opened up the score, and after a few seconds Alexander Svitov increased it to 2:0.

This result held out till the match ending when Antti Pihlström scored the third goal to Sibir. But Jori Lehtera reduced the lead of Salavat Yulaev to 3:1.

Salavat Yulaev won one point over Sibir in the standings.

The following home match Ufa players will spend versus one more neighbour – "Barys" from Astana on January 26.
