Five thousand traffic accidents have occurred in Bashkiria in 2012

According to information of the Republican Public Prosecutor’s Office 70 citizens RB died in traffic accidents and 6313 people were traumatized in 2012. More than five thousand traffic accidents have been registered in all. In the course of surveillance Republican law-enforcement bodies disclosed more than two thousand violations. Thus, servicing organizations and municipalities, responsible for road maintenance, often violated the rules for purchase of building materials. Several driving schools, either working without licenses or having no autodromes, were found out in some republican regions. About 300 drivers, suffering either alcoholism or drug addiction, were deprived of driving licenses in 2012, press service of the Public Prosecutor’s office RB reported.
