One more our compatriot was master sergeant, a cadet of the Higher Naval College Peter Turbovets from the town of Belebey. When the war with Japanese invaders began, he was sent to the town of Gensan for taking part in an operation. During this operation he demonstrated real bravery but was deadly wounded and died on August 25, 1945, at a field hospital. He is buried in Gensan Park (North Pyongyang, the town of Idgu).
