Ministry for internal affairs in RB summed up work totals-2012

Bashkir police has traditionally become the first republican institution, where work totals -2012 were summed up. The head of Ministry for internal affairs in Republic of Bashkortostan Michael Zakomaldin reported about results of operating activity. The number of registered crimes in the region reduced by three thousand, as compared with the previous year. The number of grave crimes reduced by one thousand. The work on decriminalization of economic activity was activated and the number of disclosed corruption crimes increased by one third. Prevention of extremism and ethnic separatism also turned out to be successful. Within the frames of struggle with illegal gambling industry 1059 clubs were closed and 22 thousand slot machines were confiscated.

Policemen disclosed more than 41 registered crimes – two third of the whole number. Persons, guilty of 333 killings, more than 1200 robberies, 270 holdups and of 988 cases of grave bodily injury, were ascertained.
