Ufa wants to receive “All Stars Game of Continental Hockey League”

The president of Continental Hockey League Alexander Medvedev reported after the “All Stars Game of Continental Hockey League-2013”, held in Chelyabinsk the day before, that it was decided to hold the next “all stars weekend” in 2015 in Omsk.

“As for the format and the place – we’ve just discussed it with the Omsk region governor. Omsk will receive “All Stars Game” in 2015. In 2014 it will be held in the West and we have two candidates there – Prague and Bratislava, plus Yaroslavl, though this town hasn’t yet submitted the application. The choice will include these three cities” – M-r Medvedev said.

At the same time before the stars game in Chelyabinsk the president of Continental Hockey League also called Ufa one of the main pretenders.

“Competition is very hard. We have four applications and all of them are quite worthy. I can just call the candidates: Bratislava and Prague in the West, Ufa and Omsk in the East. We will announce the winner before the playoffs. As for the Yaroslavl’s application, they haven’t yet submitted it, but if such application is sent to us, it means that we will examine it too”.
