About three thousand pupils from Bashkortostan will become participants of all-Russian Olympiad

About three thousand pupils from Bashkortostan will participate in the regional stage of all-Russian school Olympiad, including winners and prize-holders of the municipal Olympiad, held in the current school year. Ministry for education RB reports that pupils of the 8th-11th classes will take part in the intellectual marathon, which started the last week.

The main goals of the Olympiad, conducted in 21 subjects, are revealing and development of creative abilities and interest in scientific activity, making necessary conditions for support of gifted children and popularization of scientific knowledge.

Pupils are righteous to take part in several subject Olympiads simultaneously. Winners of the regional stage may take part in the final stage of all-Russian Olympiad in April-May 2013.

At the same time the winners of the regional stage of the Olympiad in global art culture, held at social-humanitarian faculty of Bashkir State Pedagogical University, have been announced. 60 pupils have become its participants and pedagogues of the Bashkir State Pedagogical University explain that the tasks were very complicated since the pupils had to answer strictly formulated questions and take part in the discussions, devoted to different genres and styles in art and to their specifics in different epochs. Thus, Albina Zialtdinova from Buraevski region has become the winner among ninth graders, Ekaterina Kudinova from Chishminski region – the best among tenth graders and Alice Valiakhmetova from Ufa – the best among eleventh graders.
