UGATU opens doors for school-leavers

Traditional Week of Open Doors started at Ufa State Aviation Technical University and senior pupils from Ufa, republican towns and regions will take part in it. Specially designed program will help the school-leavers to choose future profession and prepare themselves for the entrance exams.

On January 11 the future school-leavers will meet with the rector, deans and with the secretary of the selection committee. They will get to know the history of the University and its today’s life, training courses and specialties. After that they will visit the University’s laboratories and scientific centers.

The first Day of open laboratories will take place for senior pupils on January 12.

Free of charge training courses in mathematics, physics and informatics, conducted by leading pedagogues of the University, will be also opened during winter school holidays.

The Sunday mathematical school for gifted children will work under the University till the end of April and the entrance is free.

The next Week of Open Doors will again take place at Ufa State Aviation Technical University during spring holidays, an employee of University’s press center Elena Katkova reported to “Bashinform”.
