Ufa is included into Top 10 of the contest “The City of Russia – National Choice-2012”

Ufa is included into Top 10 of all-Russian contest “The City of Russia – National Choice-2012”. The capital RB collected 60023 votes and occupied the eighth line of the rating. More than 7 million citizens of Russia have taken part in this internet project.

Smolensk has won the first position with 285805 votes. Pskov, Irkutsk, Great Novgorod, Cheboksary, Ulan-Ude and Tyumen have also left Ufa behind.

“The City of Russia” is a project, aimed at the choice of the most significant, recognizable and symbolic city of Russia. The rating includes all big administrative centers of the country – 81 cities in a whole.

The site www.город-россии.рф presents many interesting news about history and culture of Russian cities and contains unique photographs and descriptions of the most famous places of interest and monuments of architecture. One may get full information about Russian cities and share impressions on the site.

The project has become an important public event and thanks to participation in it many citizens of Russia have learned more about history of the country, communicating with residents of other cities.
