15 people died on roads of Bashkiria during New Year weekends

87 traffic accidents have occurred in the Republic for the last New Year weekends: 15 people died and 126 were traumatized, the chief traffic inspector RB Dinar Gilmutdinov has reported in his blog. The police colonel reports that the heaviest accidents have occurred during the last days of 2012. Thus, eight people died and 50 were injured on December 30. Excessive speed and driving the opposite carriageway were the main reasons of the accidents. No fatalities have been registered for the last weekend. 10 people received traumas in nine accidents on January 8, press service of Bashkir traffic police reports.
