One more book of local lore specialist was presented in Sharanski region

Presentation of the book “Some pages from history of small villages” by local lore specialist Valentine Danilov was presented in Sharanski region of Bashkortostan. This is already his third book, describing the history of 20 local settlements. It is published with circulation 100 copies and at the expense of the author himself.

“The main value of this edition is that here the data about disappeared villages of our region is collected and systematized” – a labor veteran Anvar Gimazetdinov told at the presentation – “Now these former settlements won’t fall into oblivion”.

The first book of the author, published in 2008, was devoted to his native village Mikhailovka and in the second he told about people, who once replenished the glory of Sharanski lands.

At present time the author actively works in the Central State Historical Archive RB, so every fact from his books is checked and supported by corresponding documents.
