A hostel for disabled students to be constructed in Ufa

Designing of the first hostel for students with restricted health abilities started in Ufa. Ufa administration reports five million rubles is allocated for design and exploratory works. This social object will be erected in Sovetski district of Ufa.

It is planned that the future multi-storied building will have comfortable environment for different categories of disabled students – for students, suffering low mobility, for deaf and blind ones. Ramps will be installed here and door frames will be wider than usually.

Not just students of higher education institutions but also students from special secondary education institutions will become the residents of the future hostel. Specialists of Ufa State University of economics and service have taken part in designing of this project. The Ufa State University of economics and service is considered a regional experimental site for teaching students with disabilities.
