Ufa police plans its work during world hockey championship

Ufa police intends to attract more than 500 policemen for ensuring of public safety during the forthcoming world junior hockey championship. “For non-admission of the acts of terror and extremist actions, disorderly and insulted behavior the police will examine citizens at the entrances to the sports objects with the use of special technical means. Police details will control sports sectors and nearby territories. Additional safety measures are provided for the places of hockey teams’ residence” – press service of Ministry for internal affairs in RB reported.

The junior hockey championship will be held in “Ufa-Arena” and in Ufa Sports Palace on December 26, 2012 – January 5, 2013, and teams from ten countries will take part in the competition.
